Former Rovers striker Alfie May scored twice for the Robins on a day to forget for Gary McSheffrey’s men.

5. Ben Jackson 5
Made a couple of vital blocks at 0-0 but allowed Blair too much time and space to cross for the second. Another one who failed to really impose himself on the game. Photo: Liam Ford/AHPIX LTD
6. Dan Gardner 4
Hooked at half time after failing to get into the game. A pale shadow of his recent self. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
7. Adam Clayton 5
Sent off on his second start for the club. Will feel harshly done to for both bookings but could perhaps have avoided both flashpoints. Sloppy in possession at times. Photo: Liam Ford/AHPIX LTD
8. Matt Smith 6
Struggled to get into the game in the first half. Dropped deeper following the sending off and saw more of the ball. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
