Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances. Let us know your thoughts on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
5. Tommy Rowe 6
Consistently provided the forward drive from Rovers at both left back and left wing back. He linked up well with Close and Hiwula ahead of him. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
6. Matt Smith 5
Bright at times and always willing to chase things down but he made a fair few mistakes in possession and was a little easy to play around. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
7. John Bostock 4
Struggled yet again in the screening role as Rovers were far too easy to play through down the middle. Linked up well with his fellow midfielders in the first half but could not get a handle on possession after the break. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
8. Ben Close 5
Involved in some decent play in the first half but drifted out of the game as it wore on, particularly after moving higher up the pitch with a formation switch. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
