Play at the Keepmoat Stadium in 2021 Business Community Cup

Here’s your chance to make those dreams become a reality by playing in the 2021 Doncaster Business Community Cup in the colours of either the Business All Stars or Commercial Legends.

Organisers Doncaster Business For The Community (DB4C) have announced that the popular charity match will return this year on Saturday, June 5 (3pm), at the home of Doncaster Rovers.

Open training sessions start at the Keepmoat Stadium on Monday at 6pm.

The 2019 match raised a record-breaking £9,000 for Children’s Air Ambulance and the Doncaster People’s Disabled Alliance.

This year’s chosen charities are Active Fusion, Doncaster Mind and Club Doncaster Foundation.

Anthony Temperton, DB4C director and trustee, said: “This is a truly great event and a great partnership with Doncaster Rovers FC and Club Doncaster Foundation. Those who sign up will have the opportunity of playing in a competitive match at the stadium, being coached by some great local coaches and doing their bit for charity in the local community.

“At DB4C we are not just about supporting local causes and charities, we are also about improving the health and wellbeing of business employers and their staff throughout the Doncaster area and this is an excellent example of our work.

“We are also delighted to announce our new ‘Goalden Ticket’ incentive where alongside Club Doncaster Foundation we are giving Club Doncaster Foundation supporters and current and past participants the chance to take part on this event for a donation of £20.”

Places in the two squads are limited. The cost per player is £225, which includes ten weeks training, personalised training and playing kit, participation medal, matchday experience and a ticket for the DB4C Annual Sports Awards Dinner in October to be hosted by match sponsors, The Crown Hotel Bawtry.
