The wind was playing havoc on a blustery night in DN4, contributing to a scrappy affair with chances at a premium in the early exchanges.
Home stopper Zander Clark raced out to collect a wicked cross with his namesake Jordan lurking as the visitors probed first. Rovers then broke quickly but Luke Molyneux couldn't finish off a super-quick counter as he drilled a shot wide of the left-hand post. It would be Luton who then opened the scoring when Kasey Palmer fired home a terrific half-volley from outside the area with Clark rooted to the spot.
Glenn Middleton tried his luck just after the restart with a fierce free-kick that was beaten away by away stopper Josh Keeley. Rovers' Clark was again called into action to parry away a dipping Liam Walsh effort from long-range.
That proved vital as not long after Brandon Hanlan levelled matters. It came after a good pick-out from Pearson to find Owen Bailey who made an excellent run from deep and he headed into the path of Hanlan who fired beyond Keeley.
Rovers looked the more likely to pinch the points - especially from a scramble right at the death - but it ended honours even.
Here's how we rated the Rovers players tonight:

5. Jack Senior 7
Committed performance, as per, and was involved plenty with ample touches of the ball. Solid showing all in all. Photo: Craig Hawkhead / AHPIX LTD

6. Owen Bailey 6
Skipper had a reserved first half - by his high standards - but sprang into life second half with a good run from deep and expert, glanced header to find Hanlan for the equaliser. Heavily involved as Rovers scampered for a winner. Photo: Craig Hawkhead / AHPIX LTD

7. Robbie Gotts 6
A few bright moments but part of a midfield that seemed to be bypassed for the opener. Recovered composure and had a few sighters. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD

8. Glenn Middleton 6
A night of near-misses. Back in the starting XI and fired a goalbound shot that was blocked in the first few minutes. A fierce free-kick beaten away second half and then blazed well over when well-placed a few yards out. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
