The Brighton and Hove Albion loanee was forced off in the second half after suffering a blow to his hip.

But he joined in during Monday’s snow-delayed training session at Cantley Park and will be monitored ahead of Tuesday night’s trip to Fleetwood Town.

“He seems fine,” boss Darren Moore said. There’s been no real adverse reactions since the weekend.

“He’s trained today and we’ll see how he is on Tuesday and whether there’s been any reaction to it.”

Also joining in on Monday for the first time since joining the club was striker Omar Bogle.

The forward tested positive for Covid-19 as he joined Rovers and has spent his time since in quarantine.

Moore was pleased to see the 29-year-old on the training ground and says the work he did will be assessed before deciding whether he will be part of the travelling party on Tuesday.

Moore said: “It’s good to see him and have him integrate in with the squad.

“We’ve done some work with him, with the sports science team, and we’ll have a look at the data and what condition he’s in.

“Then we’ll make a decision from there over whether he’ll be ready for Tuesday or more the game at the weekend.

“The data will show up what we need to do with him, if there is anything.

“With the fixture list and the schedule, it’s not about risking him back in for one or two. If he needs work we will do that with him.”
