Right back Seaman was offered a contract by Rovers at the end of a successful trial but failed to agree terms.

Rovers boss Darren Moore had set the 20-year-old a deadline of Sunday for a deal to be agreed but it passed without a contract being signed.

It is understood that Seaman played as a trialist for National League South side Maidstone United in Saturday’s friendly against Dover.

Charlie Seaman

Seaman was invited to join in training with Rovers late last month and played in the friendly against Manchester United U21s as Moore looked to add cover for Brad Halliday.

A former scholar with Bournemouth, he signed professional terms in 2018 but was released earlier this summer without making a senior appearance for the club. He spent time on loan with Dundee United, Maidstone and Eastleigh.
