The Rovers boss hopes to have a verdict on the Southampton loanee later in the week but was not confident of good news.
“It’s too early to say after him coming off with it really,” Moore said.
“We’ll see on Wednesday but it might be a couple of days before it settles down.
“It was a blot on the evening really.
“It was disturbing but we’ll see what the next couple of days brings and go from there.”
“Just as we’re getting one or two back off the treatment table, hopefully we don’t lose the bodies we have on the pitch.
“We need as many bodies as we can as we’re short as it is already.
“Losing players is not something we want at this stage of the season.
Moore revealed that Joe Wright will be fit and available to face Burton Albion on Saturday.
