Coppinger curled in a wonderful free kick in the 12th minute of added time to earn Rovers a 3-3 draw with their promotion rivals.

And it also happened to be on the day when Rovers wore the charity third kit designed by the 40-year-old himself to mark his 17th and final season at the club. The free kick was struck with matching boots commissioned by his team mates for the occasion.

Coppinger is up against Gillingham’s Conor Ogilvie and Peterborough United’s Jack Taylor.

Ogilvie scored a wonder volley in Gillingham’s win over Charlton while Taylor lashed in a long range effort against Plymouth Argyle.

Voting will take place on the official EFL League One Twitter account HERE until Monday, March 15 with winners confirmed on Match 19.
