Ramsey has impressed over his five matches since joining Rovers on loan from Aston Villa on transfer deadline day.

And he believes a large part of that is down to being given license to craft and create by Moore.

“He’s been really good for me since I came in,” Ramsey said.

“He said I brought something different for the team, a different element. He’s just wanted me to go out and express myself.

“He says I’m here for a reason, because I’m a good player, and he wants me to show Villa that I am.

“He’s been telling me what I’ve been doing right and wrong but he also gives me the chance to put the wrongs right.” Looking at ‘the wrongs’ is something Ramsey admits he has been forced to get used to since joining Rovers.

Moore is very keen on video analysis and work in what he terms ‘the classroom,’ bringing a new element to work during the week for the 18-year-old loanee. “Before, I didn’t really like looking back at my games but coming here there’s loads of video stuff that the gaffer wants to show us,” he said. “I’ve really liked doing that myself, looking back at my games. picking out the negatives but also the positives. After the game, once the game has finished, I don’t really like to think about it if I’ve not played good but I’ll go through the clips.”
