Joe Ironside and Hakeeb Adelakun got the goals for Grant McCann’s side. Here’s how we rated the players today:
5. Joseph Olowu 6
Looked really composed and was impressing aerially before having to go off at half-time. Was holding back of his thigh prior to being subbed off. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
6. Jack Senior 8
Tenacious and right up for the game, Senior won more than his fair share of headers, tackles and interceptions. Key to seeing out the win. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
7. Hakeeb Adelakun 8
Looked really lively and put in a peach of a ball into the box that Ironside glanced home inside the box. He then showed a cool head to fire home in the second half. Star man who showed he has the 'X factor' Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
8. Owen Bailey 6
Back to his combative best in the engine room. Played a killer through-ball to Adelakun for Rovers' second. Photo: Howard Roe/ahpix.com
