Here we look at a selection of the supporter reaction to the loss on social media.

@Stevedcfd: AB worked with players for a week he selected a team to win. We didn’t come alive attacking wise until second half and it was not good enough. The players have not shown their best for weeks. Without a fit Sims and Taylor we have nothing on the wings.

@JohnLeslieCoyl1: I'm sorry to say it, but too many players don't look interested. There was no urgency even when we went behind.

@nwarddrfc: Out of the playoffs and won't get back in till next season

@SteveGr41417727: I think that the problem is that we have a group of individuals not playing as a team. I think that it is, wrong to blame Andy Butler who has stepped in to a situation that was already there, it is wrong to blame the board too who backed the previous manager.

@TheRobSmudge: We’ve been poor since January and that hasn’t changed since Butler came in. Perhaps we’ve just been found out and we’re not very good?

@liam_copley: For me butler can’t get them going. He struggling to get the best out of the players he got. The players need to step up there performances. End of day there in a good Position to get in the play-offs and make a name for themselves and the club by game promoted.

@joycie01: Strange, let's not forget the majority we're DMs players and when he left obviously they're disappointed.. However, these are professionals, I can take being beaten, but I won't accept lack of effort, some weren't up for it, lack of motivation? Nah, you put a shift in, regardless

@SteveLeedale: Awful. Absolutely bloody awful. Such a strange season but we aren’t heading for the playoffs and even if we were it would be an embarrassment if we played like we have in the past two months.

@HarrySwain3: Appalling performance. We are are lucky that we have passed 50 points otherwise I’d be worried about relegation.
