Football rumours: Chelsea to bid £40m for Stones? Manchester United on verge of Pedro deal? Or will they battle with Arsenal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic?

Chelsea have bid £30m for Everton defender John Stones, but could up that to £40m according to the Telegraph.

Should Stones leave Goodison Park, the Daily Star reports that Everton will look to Swansea’s Ashley Williams or Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.

And the Daily Mirror suggest that Jose Mourinho will be given the green light to make more additions to his squad.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward has flown to Spain to tie up a deal for Barcelona’s want-away forward Pedro.

The Mail also believe that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been told he can leave PSG, and Arsenal and Manchester United are among interested parties.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Sky Sports believe that Manchester city will have to up their offer for Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi.
