The on loan Wolverhampton Wanderers defender missed the win over Oxford United due to a hamstring injury which forced him off during the game against Sunderland.

Boss Darren Moore says the injury came about due to the exertions of the busy festive period but does not feel it will prove a lengthy absence.

“He was struggling with his hamstring and that is a fatigue injury,” Moore said.

“Cameron has changed his positional sense from centre back to full back and that is different in terms of ground covered.

“Therefore his was a real fatigue injury and I didn’t include him from that purpose.

“We would imagine he should be fit for the next game.”

Moore also revealed forward Rakish Bingham has been struggling with an injury which has kept him out of Rovers’ last two matches.

“He had a knock in training on top of his foot and he couldn’t put his weight through it so he was out of action,” he said.
