Liam Ravenhill has linked up with a new club following his release by Doncaster Rovers.

Ravenhill was one of seven players released by the club earlier this summer. The 21-year-old progressed through the club's academy before going on to make 21 senior outings.

He has now joined non-league side Buxton - whose assistant manager is dad Ricky, a former Rovers favourite. There is another link at the Derbyshire club given their number one is John McGrath - another former Doncaster player and dad of Rovers' centre-half Jay McGrath.
