In search of their third consecutive League One victory, Doncaster Rovers travel to Leicester City in the first meeting between the two teams in well over a decade.
Grant McCann’s side head into this one with renewed optimism after recording wins over Peterborough United and Burton Albion in recent weeks. Meanwhile, Leicester City boss Russell Martin is in desperate need of a win to ease the pressure surrounding his future in the dugout.
Doncaster Rovers travel to the East Midlands with an avalanche of injury issues, with Jordan Thomas’ early injury during last weekend’s game only compounding the situation heading into this weekend’s game at the King Power Stadium.
However, Rovers are boosted by the new arrival of experienced EFL marksman Will Keane after his agreement to sign a short-term deal with the club. He’s expected to be included in the matchday squad for the first time since moving to DN4. Elsewhere, Rovers also have Bayley McCann back at their disposal after his injury niggle while representing Northern Ireland’s Under-21 team during the international break.
Here’s our predicted Doncaster Rovers lineup for this weekend’s game with The Foxes.
