Can you spot a Doncaster Rovers fan you know from the away game at Leicester City?

Doncaster Rovers were backed by over 2,000 away supporters when they travelled to promotion hopefuls Leicester City

Doncaster Rovers’ mini League One revival came to a halt when they suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat away to promotion hopefuls Leicester City.

The Foxes took the lead on the stroke of half-time after a wonderfully taken volley by former Rovers midfielder John Lundstram. They then doubled their advantage just after the hour mark through Kamari Doyle to leave themselves firmly in the driving seat.

Rovers rallied back and attempted to stage a comeback when Warren O’Hora scored a late own goal despite Alfie May’s best efforts to claim it. But ultimately it proved too little too late with the Foxes easing pressure on manager Russell Martin by seeing out the result.

Grant McCann’s men were backed by over 2,000 away supporters for one of the standout away fixtures in the calendar. Here’s some of the best pictures from the occasion, courtesy of pictures from Gareth Williams.
