‘A first league start’ - one change in Doncaster Rovers predicted lineup against Notts County

Doncaster Rovers are aiming to record their first league win of the season against newly promoted Notts County

Doncaster Rovers are back under the lights this evening as they turn their attention to a home match against newly-promoted Notts County.

Still in search of their first league win of the season, Grant McCann’s side go into this game on the back of an entertaining 2-2 draw at Stevenage, which saw Jack Senior continue his excellent form in front of goal, and Owen Bailey claim his first of the season after penning a new long-term deal at DN4.

There were plenty of positives to take from the draw in Hertfordshire, particularly in the second half, with Rovers creating the better chances of the two sides and responding well to going behind.

Rovers are keen to get three points to really kickstart the campaign on matchday four, but they are set to face a challenging test against a Notts County side that have so far been able to avoid defeat in their first three matches despite facing two of the pre-season favourites for promotion in Leicester City and Luton Town in the early weeks of the campaign.

Ahead of this evening’s contest, here’s our predicted Doncaster Rovers lineup with one change from the team that drew at Stevenage.
