Doncaster Rovers recently dipped into the free agent market by signing experienced striker Will Keane on a short-term deal until January.
It marked the club’s 12th new arrival since the end of last season with half of the players signed by Grant McCann arriving on a free transfer.
Keane came straight into the action appearing as a second-half substitute during Rovers’ loss to Leicester City and over time will hope to prove that he still has what it takes to score goals in this division.
The five-time Republic of Ireland international spent most of the summer training with the PFA to stay as close to match sharp as possible.
