Biggest cheer of the afternoon
Goes to Ro-Shaun Williams, who kicks the ball at the referee, by accident of course.
Clayton’s free-kick hits the wall
Doncaster haven’t had a clear sight at goal since Rowe’s opportunity just after the restart.
Free kick 22 yards out
The lively Tommy Rowe is bundled over just outside the box. Clayton and Maxwell standing over it. The former has the ball in his hands.
Great opportunity...
Nice corner routine
Sees Clayton pick out Biggins with a low delivery but Sutton react just in time and the ball is nicked away from the midfielder’s feet just as he’s about to let rip.
Sutton then get a telling off for grabbing a drinks break, presumably trying to run the clock down.
Miller applying pressure
He’s on the coattails of Sutton centre-half Coby Rowe, who is a big lad but not particularly mobile and looks vulnerable when running back towards goal. A few half-hearted appeals for a penalty as the pair fall to the ground in the box following a footrace.
Better from Rovers
They’ve kept Sutton quiet so far and have seen plenty of the ball in the first 10 minutes of the second half.
Crowd sound their applause as Clayton’s ball over the top just misses the onrushing Knoyle.
Rowe in the wars
He’s been having a bit of back and forth with Rob Milson, who appeared to knee him in an off-the-ball incident.
The Rovers club captain goes back for some more before the referee stops play to have a word with both players.
Great chance for Tommy Rowe
He’s playing on the right-hand side this half and steals the ball away from a Sutton defender before finding himself through on goal.
His half volley is parried away, however, when perhaps he should score.
Looks like Rowe and Hurst have switched sides.
