Both Rovers and Shrewsbury have been charged with being in breach of Rule E20 over allegations they 'failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion in or around the 90th minute of the fixture,' according to an FA statement.

The two clubs have been given until Friday to respond to charges.

It is understood a scuffle between Madger Gomes and Callum Lang sparked the incident in question.
