Doncaster had taken the lead early in the first half thanks to striker Jack Goodman’s volley.

Tayo Tucker equalised for the home side on the stroke of half-time before they went ahead in the 76th minute through Nathan Kabeya.

Julian Donnery wrapped up the win in stoppage time.

Rovers’ new head coach Danny Schofield is being aided by under-18s boss Chad Gribble and coach Paul Green while an assistant is recruited.
