Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at Ewood Park. Let us know what you think on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
9. Taylor Richards 8
So much of Rovers’ play went through the Brighton loanee. There were times in the first half when his passing was sloppy and brought pressure on Rovers, but others when he showed a touch of magic to open up the opposition, particularly when combining with John-Jules. He attacked the space in front of him superbly for Rovers’ goal. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
10. Elliot Simoes 7
Another immediate debut and the Barnsley loanee looked lively when given the opportunity to get on the ball. His close control was good and helped him work his way out of tight spots. More to come. Photo: Lewis Storey
11. Tyreece John-Jules 7
Another lively presence in attacking areas for Rovers, but more so in flashes as they struggled to get on the ball in the first half. When they did, he linked up superbly for Richards and had the Blackburn defence on the back foot. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
12. Jason Lokilo 6
One of his better appearances off the bench. He immediately linked up well with those around him to get Rovers on the front foot. Photo: Andrew Roe/AHPIX LTD
