Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at New Meadow. Let us know what you think on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
5. Reece James 6
A solid performance at full back from the returning James. He pushed up to half way well and eased pressure. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
6. Matt Smith 6
Some of his passing in the first half in particular was poor and saw possession conceded far too cheaply on multiple occasions. But he brought the battle in the middle of the park that is his trademark. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
7. John Bostock 6
Played some superb passes at times but nowhere near enough. Struggled to impose himself on the physical side of the game in the middle of the park. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
8. James Coppinger 6
A decent performance from the veteran. He played some nice balls through and some decent crosses into the box too and was unfortunate not to find the net after latching onto a fine through ball from Richards. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
