In for his debut in place of the dropped Louis Jones. He made an excellent early save but struggled afterwards, with Miller’s corner flying over his head and Lindsay’s strike going through his legs on the angle. His poor decision when lining up a big kick up field led to the Rotherham penalty. Photo: *

. Kyle Knoyle 5
Got out to deal with the threat posed down the right but struggled as everyone else did when the ball was in the box. Got forward more in the second half. Photo: AHPIX Ltd

. Joseph Olowu 5
Much more unsettled than he has previously looked in a Rovers shirt but got in some big headers. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD

. Ollie Younger 4
He looked nervy throughout as he rushed clearances and seemed uncertain with his positioning. Not nearly as commanding as he has previously been. His passing was poor. Photo: *

. Charlie Seaman 4
Got on the ball well at times and powered forward but his end product was very poor. He ran the ball out of play on several occasions while his crosses failed to find the mark. And some of his short passing was very poor. Photo: AHPIX Ltd

9. Tommy Rowe 6
Offered real drive for the team, even after being forced to operate deeper than his number ten role would typically have permitted. He rushed, harried and disrupted the opposition and looked most likely to make something happen. Photo: AHPIX Ltd

10. Mipo Odubeko 5
Having had a plethora of chances on his debut, the West Ham loanee barely had a sniff on this occasion. He struggled to latch onto much going forward as there was very little to go on. Photo: *

11. Joe Dodoo 5
Put himself about but had little to go on in attacking areas. Service into the front was poor. He struggled to win his headers. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX

Came on at the break and made a difference for Rovers with better composure on the ball that others had shown. More competitive than most in the physical stakes. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
