Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at the London Stadium. Let us know what you think on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
5. Cameron John 6
Under pressure a lot during the game and struggled to keep track of the runners. He did offer a good outlet going forward and got on the end of a good chance after a great run. Photo: Andrew Roe/AHPIX LTD
6. Matt Smith 7
Was his usual energetic self in the middle of the park and was the player Rovers looked to to receive the ball out from the back. But there were occasions when he overplayed things and it put his side in trouble. He did have Rovers’ best chance with his superb volley off the bar. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
7. Reece James 7
He worked his socks off in the middle of the park as he looked to protect the back line while also springing Rovers forward when he got the opportunity. It was difficult for him to keep track of the opposition but it was a decent performance. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
8. Jon Taylor 6
Was always likely to be the player looked for to mount counterattacks but he struggled to get on the ball for a meaningful spell. He worked incredibly hard, particularly in tracking back. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
