9. Ben Close 8
Comfortably Rovers’ best player and arguably the top performer on the pitch. He was quick to everything, spun away from close attention and played some decent passes. His runs with the ball provided Rovers’ main threat on the night. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
10. Dan Gardner 5
Was involved a fair amount as Rovers got a grip on the game in the first half but not in truly threatening areas. Linked up well with Rowe. Photo: Steve Flynn
11. Tiago Cukur 6
A difficult battle for him throughout the evening and a huge learning curve as he fought with a very physical defence. Had more positive touches as the second half wore on but still needed more threat. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
12. Omar Bogle 6
Easily his best performance of the season so far off the bench. After taking a few minutes to accilmatise he put himself about well and won flicks ons. He did not provide the threat in front of goal however. Photo: Andrew Roe/AHPIX LTD
