Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at the Abbey Stadium. Let us know your thoughts on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
9. Tommy Rowe 7
A strong performance in the main for the skipper, who was a powerful driver of the attacking play in the first half. He took control of things when dropping deeper in the second. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
10. Josh Martin 6
Lively at times on his debut but also a little rusty. He showed a clear desire to get on the ball and make things happen. He got snuffed out on a fair few occasions but his lovely pass created the Rovers goal. Photo: *
11. Joe Dodoo 7
Another performance full of energy from the forward who is key to this fresh, direct approach from Rovers. Deserved his goal and could have had more. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX
12. Omar Bogle 5
Put himself about well having come off the bench in the second half. Rovers didn’t have nearly the same threat but he won his fair share of flick-ons and made a nuisance of himself but struggled for chances of his own Photo: AHPIX Ltd
