Meanwhile, boss Darren Moore is understood to have reached a final decision on the future of Tulloch’s loan from West Bromwich Albion.

The winger has been out of action since early September with a hamstring injury and has suffered several setbacks since. He has spent his recovery time with his parent club.

Moore received news of a scan on Tulloch’s injury at the start of the week and while he has made progress in his recovery, he will not be available for selection for some time.

It left the Rovers boss with a decision to make over whether to continue with the loan deal or to exercise a break clause and explore other options.

It is understood that he and his recruitment team have been examining potential loan signings in Tulloch’s position as well as making contact with clubs to check on availability this month.

Tulloch and the goalkeeping position were Moore’s two top priorities at the transfer window over the weekend and ones he was keen to address as quickly as possible.
