“It’s a bitter blow for us.
“Later in the week we will have more news and more of a timescale with it.
“It’s sad news for us to lose someone of that ilk and quality.”
Moore confirmed that Rovers will continue with John-Jules’ loan rather than cancelling it, and hope to have him involved again this season.
“No. It won’t be the end of his loan,” he said.
“It’s just getting the timescale now.”

“It does change things,” he said.
“On Friday last week my mindset was in a different place and 24 hours later it was completely different.
“I wanted to really focus on the Rochdale game after Saturday’s game at Swindon but on Wednesday morning, we’ll be right on it in terms of trying to get things organised.
“It does change the whole dynamic of it with the scale of the injury.”
