The Tottenham Hotspur loanee suffered a dead leg in the clash with Rotherham United on September 7, suffering internal bleeding in his thigh with the impact of the injury.

Hide AdSterling underwent a scan on the injury last week with Rovers boss Darren Moore revealing there had been no improvement, almost three months on since the original incident.
“Incredibly, and we're waiting for some more inside information from a medical point of view, Kazaiah’s injury really hasn’t improved all that much with the results we had back from the scan,” Moore said.
“He’s not really moved any further forwards. He hasn’t moved backwards but he hasn’t moved forward either.

Hide AdSterling was signed in mid-August on a season long loan as Moore sought to boost his attacking ranks following the departure of John Marquis.
And Moore admits he would be forced to secure a different loanee in January should Sterling fail to show significant improvement before the end of the year.
“If he’s not able to come back, certainly over the next couple of weeks and be ready for the busy Christmas programme, then yes, we’d have to look at maybe replacing him when the window opens with an additional loan,” he said.
