FC United currently play in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. They are unbeaten in the league so far this season but have drawn four of their five games.
They reached the second round of the FA Cup in 2010.
Despite the presence of non-league sides, all first round matches will take place behind closed doors.
Of the 40 matches, 16 will be broadcast by BT Sport and the BBC with the remaining games made available for streaming by the host club.
