Doncaster Rovers confirm contract offers and releases

Doncaster Rovers have confirmed their retained and released list, with new deals offered to James Coppinger and Matty Blair.

As reported exclusively by the Free Press last week, the veteran duo are in negotiations with the club over contract renewals, with talks set to continue this week.

And young pair Danny Amos and Louis Jones have also been offered fresh terms.

It is understood that the club asked for indication by today from those offered new deals of whether they were interested in remaining with the club.

Midfielder AJ Greaves has extended his stay until the summer of 2021.

Rovers have confirmed that top scorer Kieran Sadlier has been released after failing to agree to the contract offered earlier in the year.

Devante Cole, Alex Baptiste and Alex Kiwomya have also been released along with U23s players Max Watters, Shane Blaney, Myron Gibbons, Rian McLean and Rieves Boocock.
