Doncaster Rovers' Ben Whiteman named among best in entire EFL by FIFA 20
The Rovers skipper was selected as part of a squad of 20 covering all three EFL divisions, released by FIFA 20 makers EA Sports under the title Team of the Season So Far.
Whiteman was named among the substitutes, with an overall player rating of 84 on the game.

Hide AdRotherham United's Michael Ihiekwe and Wycombe Wanderers’ Joe Jacobson both made the starting XI while fellow League One players Ronan Curtis (Portsmouth), James Henry (Oxford United) and Fankaty Dabo (Coventry City) joined Whiteman among the substitutes.
Rovers boss Darren Moore says the recognition for the 23-year-old is very much deserved.
He said: “It’s absolutely fantastic news.
"It’s incredible for him to be nominated with the Championship players, with the array of talent there, to be nominated for the EFL Team of the Season – it’s massive. Huge plaudits for Ben.
“Ben has epitomised why we have made him the skipper and asked him to lead the team this season. His leadership skills on and off the field have been crucial and he’s played his part towards what has been a positive season for Doncaster Rovers thus far.

“We’re all pleased and delighted - his performances have been up there with some of the best midfielders in the division and we believe we have one of the best midfielders in the division in Ben.”
