The first round tie will be the sixth time since the start of last season that Belles have faced a team from the tier above, the FAWNL Northern Premier Division.
While Belles were beaten on each occasion, only one of those cup ties ended in a defeat by more than a single goal when Belles lost 5-3 at Stoke City at the same stage of last season’s competition.

Huddersfield, who lie fourth in their division, began their campaign with a 7-1 victory at Boldmere St Michaels who finished Division One Midlands champions last season, two points ahead of Belles – so the tie will provide another useful guide as to where Belles stand in their long term goal of climbing back up the pyramid.
The absence of a game last Sunday was timely for Belles, giving players additional time to recover from injury.
Eliza Bedford scored for Belles Development in their 5-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest Reserves. They host Sporting Khalsa Development this Sunday (2pm).
