And the diagnosis the Arsenal loanee receives could have a significant influence on Rovers' transfer activity this month, according to boss Darren Moore.
John-Jules pulled up with a hamstring injury when chasing down a loose ball during the second half at the County Ground.

Hide AdHe was sent for a scan on Monday with Rovers hoping for good news after suffering a raft of injuries in recent weeks.
"At the moment we don't know the prognosis because the scan was only set up for him today," Moore said.
"He's had a couple of days off it and it's probably settled enough for him to go and have the scan.
"Once we get the results of that, we can all make plans with regards to it.

Hide Ad"We're all still very hopeful it's not as bad as you fear with these things.
"You can only go on the sight of a player pulling up like that.
"I have known players pull up and it can be more fatigue than anything else."
Moore admits he could be forced to alter his transfer plans, or readdress his focus should John-Jules be set for a lengthy absence.

Hide AdFejiri Okenabirhie is the only other recognised striker currently part of the Rovers squad and has recently been covering on the wing due to a shortage of available bodies in that position.
The priority focus this month would have been on other areas of the side but Moore is reluctant at this stage to commit to pursuing targets in specific positions until he learns the diagnosis for John-Jules.
"Because of what happened with Tyreece on Saturday, without going down a certain route I'm just waiting for the results to come back and to see where we are in terms of numbers," Moore said.
"With losing Tyreece, that would be another attack-minded player. Or if we were to keep him, that would be another attack-minded player.
