Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances over the course of the 2021/22 season.
29. Tiago Cukur 1
Spent a month in isolation before the season and, as a result, woefully lacked fitness. The teenager looked like a fish out of water and struggled to make any impact whatsoever. A complete waste of a loan. Photo: Andrew Roe/AHPIX
30. Joe Dodoo 4
Is he a winger? Or a target man? I'm none the wiser. On his day he can cause defences at this level problems but it happened far too rarely. Eight goals made him Rovers' highest scoring forward but four of those came in the Papa John's Trophy. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX
31. Omar Bogle 3
Missed a penalty at Hillsborough, banished by Wellens, recalled by McSheffrey and then sent on his way to Hartlepool. Another really poor signing by the football club. Photo: Steve Flynn
32. Jordy Hiwula 2
One goal in 25 appearances and precious little evidence of him being the proven EFL operator Rovers thought they were getting. Failed to do even the basics at times and completely disappeared off the scene towards the end of the season. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
