Darren Moore updates on Doncaster Rovers transfers ahead of MK Dons clash
Moore says he will not be actively pursuing targets until after the clash with MK Dons - though he admits business could still be done ahead of the weekend with Rovers awaiting answers from clubs on specific targets.
“At the moment, I’m just going to get my head down with the focus on the weekend and then take it from there,” he said.

The Rovers boss prefers to put his time and energy into preparing for upcoming matches and is happy for other members of his recruitment team to take up the reins during that time.
While keen to add to his ranks, with another forward a top priority, Moore says he is content with the state of his squad heading into the match with MK Dons at the Keepmoat.
He will have a fully fit group to select from, with Reece James having recovered from the leg injury which has kept him out for the majority of pre-season.

“We’ll look to see if there’s the possibility of one or maybe two more to come.
“But with the start of the season coming now, we’re happy with the work we’ve done.
“We’ve got a lot of things to be thinking about with the game this weekend.”

Moore says discussions will continue with some of the players Rovers have had on trial in recent weeks, including former club captain Andy Butler.
The Free Press understands that at least one contract offer has been made but has so far not been accepted, with negotiations set to continue.
