Gregg made 99 appearances for Rovers before he moved to Manchester United in 1957 for what was a record fee for a goalkeeper at the time.

A minute’s silence will be held tomorrow before Rovers’ game at Shrewsbury Town, where he managed between 1968 and 1972.
And speaking ahead of the game at the New Meadow, Moore said he had a ‘great affinity’ for the Northern Irishman.

“I have heard a lot of people speak of him and what a wonderful man he was.
“I had a great affinity (for him) when I heard him speak on TV and I have seen archive (footage) of him, and I'm sure we'll pay tremendous respect and give Harry a wonderful tribute for the service that he did here at Doncaster and also at Shrewsbury.

Gregg’s funeral was held earlier today in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, and was attended by fellow Munich survivor Sir Bobby Charlton, former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and Red Devils legend Denis Law.
Ex-Northern Ireland First Minister Arlene Foster was also among the mourners.
