The full back is this week set to report back for training following the cancellation of the remainder of the National League South season, where he was on loan with Maidstone United.

Seaman has yet to fully train with Rovers after signing a one-year deal in October, as he was immediately sent out on a season-long loan to Maidstone. He did take part in a successful trial period prior to signing his contract.

And Moore says he will look to bring the 20-year-old up to speed quickly to get him ready to potentially be a part of matchday squads.

“It’s good for him because he did really well on the trial period and we just thought we could send him somewhere and keep him ready,” Moore said.

“It’ll be good to see him, the condition he’s in and where he’s at and get my hands on him.

“He knows a bit about us but he’ll get into us over the next few weeks and learn what we’re all about.

“I look at him and know he can show that versatility and play in one or two positions.

“I’m looking at him and thinking he can possible play. But before he does that then I want to put him in a few scenarios in training and see how he handles it iIf he’s called upon at first team level.”

A natural left back, Seaman played at full back and on the wings during his time with Maidstone.

Also returning to Rovers this week will be academy product Lirak Hasani who saw his loan spell at Gateshead cut short after the National League North was cancelled.

“I’m disappointed for Lirak but he’ll come back into an environment he knows and understands,” Moore said.

“He’ll know what is expected of him when he comes into our environment.

“He’s back in and he’s back ready to go again after he gets the all-clear from Covid-19 which we think will be later this week.

“He and Charlie will provide competition.

“They get to a level and a standard and with the games how they are currently, you never know.”
