‘No bids’ for Crewe man

Crewe Alexandra winger Owen Dale has not been the subject of any bids so far this summer according to boss David Artell.

The 22-year-old is understood to be on the radar of Sunderland but Artell says there has been no formal interest so far with Wycombe Wanderers also tracking the winger.

Tussle for Baggies keeper

Cheltenham Town are facing competition to secure a loan deal for West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Josh Griffiths according to Gloucestershire Live.

Griffiths spent last season on loan with Cheltenham as they won the League Two title and the Robins are keen to welcome back the 19-year-old. But his performances have attracted the attention of Lincoln City and Portsmouth.

Accrington set to raid non-league

Accrington Stanley are close to signing Bognor Regis Town midfielder Tommy Leigh according to the Bognor Regis Observer.

The 21-year-old has caught the eye for the Isthmian League Premier Division outfit.

Pompey linked with midfielder

Portsmouth have been tipped to move for Accrington Stanley midfielder Matt Butcher according to The News.

The south coast side have no senior central midfielders on their books following the departures of Ben Close to Rovers and Tom Naylor to Wigan and boss Danny Cowley is understood to have earmarked boyhood Pompey fan Butcher as a potential signing.
