Grant McCann’s men romped to victory to extend their unbeaten run to four games. Strikes from Luke Molyneux and Joe Ironside had them 2-0 up before Danny Rose halved the deficit for the hosts from the penalty spot.
But a Niall Maher own goal restored the two-goal buffer after the break before Matty Craig and Kyle Hurst goals added further gloss.
Here’s how we rated the Rovers players today.
5. Richard Wood - 7

6. James Maxwell - 7
Back in the starting XI after Senior's injury. Was competent and kept tabs on the dangerous Vernam throughout. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
7. Owen Bailey - 7
Booked early doors but it didn't affect his game. Kept it ticking over in the engine room and chipped in with plenty of interceptions and blocks. Photo: HOWARD ROE
8. Matty Craig - 9
Another game, another fine showing from the Spurs youngster. So often he is in the right place at the right time to mop up or plays a nice, simple pass. Only blot on his copybook was a yellow card for the third game running. Photo: HOWARD ROE
