Cricket: Haxey downed in cup final by Scunthorpe
Scunthorpe Town lifted the Amazing Smile NLL Division One KO Cup at Hibaldstow after beating Haxey by 76 runs, writes Glen Sands.
Ian Snowden hit 100 not out and Jamie Brumby 85 as they set a stiff target of 237 for 6.
The Isle side replied with 161 for 7 thanks, in the main, to Oliver Tonks who scored 49.
Matt Pashley took 3 for 44 to help Scunthorpe lift the coveted trophy.
