Snow is forecast for Doncaster this weekend: This is when it's due to arrive

Long range forecasts predict Doncaster could see a sprinkling of the white stuff this Saturday.

Temperatures on Saturday will range from a low of 1c to a high of 4, with the forecast predicted to be a mixture of rain and snow – with a 40 per cent chance of preciptation.

However, by Sunday, temperatures are predicted to rise with any snow showers turning to rain.

Meanwhile, according to some reports, an 'Arctic blast' will bring cold temperatures to the UK at the end of December, raising hopes of a White Christmas.

A Met Office spokesman said: “At the moment the UK is almost four weeks away from Christmas so we are unable to give any detailed forecast at this stage. But, our latest forecast does currently suggest that during the later stages of December it is looking more likely to be unsettled.”
