A string of workers at the town's One Call Insurance have turned into unlikely stars after covering the 1995 Outhere Brothers hit Boom Boom Boom in comical fashion.

The tongue in cheek promotional advertising video, filmed at the firm's premises in Lakeside, features workers and management miming and dancing along to the UK number one hit, the lyrics of which have been changed to "Boom Boom Boom....let me hear you say One Call!"

The lyrics been altered to promote the services promoted by the insurance broker and the song was selected as it was originally released in 1995, the same year One Call Insurance was founded by John Radford.

So far, the video has had over 13,000 views in just 3 days, after being released on Facebook.

Marketing and brand manager Glynn Fox said: “We were certainly going for a tongue in cheek feel when we devised the idea for the video. We all think it’s turned out really well and it’s certainly outdone all our expectations. We’ve had great feedback from staff who loved taking part in it.

"Perhaps more importantly, our consumers seem to love it, with over 13,000 views it’s been a great success.”
