Volunteer with Aurora Wellbeing at Doncaster Royal Infirmary

Aurora Wellbeing Services is inviting the community to volunteer at its Doncaster centre, supporting people affected by cancer.
The centre offers a wide range of free services, including counselling, holistic and beauty therapies, hair and scalp care, and access to a wig library—all delivered in a calm, supportive environment.
Volunteers are vital to keeping these services running smoothly. Roles include reception, fundraising, therapy support, hair and scalp care, and general assistance, with flexible hours to suit your schedule.
Whether you have a few spare hours each week, are recently retired, or simply want to make a difference in your community, volunteering at Aurora is a rewarding way to give back. You’ll meet new people, learn new skills, and help clients feel supported during a challenging time.

A spokesperson from Aurora said: “Volunteers make everything we do possible. Their dedication helps us provide a welcoming space where clients can access emotional support, therapies, and guidance throughout their cancer journey.
