Video: Cop uses car door to flatten masked Doncaster drug runner
The rider was taken clean out by the officer in a busy Doncaster street
This is the moment a masked drug runner was taken clean out - when a quick thinking police officer flattened him with his patrol car door in a busy Doncaster street.
The man, suspected of dealing drugs was stopped in his tracks by firearms officers, who ‘opened the door’ to his arrest in Bentley High Street.
While the officers were on patrol in an unmarked car, they sighted a man, wearing a balaclava on an illegal Sur-Ron bike.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We know that those who ride illegal bikes with a lack of safety equipment are more likely to take greater risks on our roads, pose a danger to innocent people, and be involved in criminality.
“To stop the rider in his tracks, the officer opened the car door into him and knocked him from the bike.
“The rider was uninjured but was found to have wraps and bags of suspected Class A drugs and prescribed medication, suspected of being sold, along with cash and mobile phones.
“The rider was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
He has since been bailed while our investigation continues.”
