Twice limit Doncaster drink driver with no licence and insurance arrested on late night shopping trip
A driver who was double the drink drive limit was arrested by police in Doncaster after a late night shopping trip to buy cigarettes.
The driver was pulled by South Yorkshire Police officers after deciding to drive to a shop in the early hours in search of tobacco.
When officers stopped the vehicle, they found the driver didn’t have a driving licence or insurance and double the legal limit for driving.
SYP Operational Support said the BMW car had been seized and the driver arrested.
