UPDATE: M18 police incident involved a man on the carriageway

South Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called to the M18 southbound this morning, after reports of a minor collision and a man in the carriageway.

“It’s believed that two vehicles were in collision before one driver got out of his vehicle and ran across the road.

“There were no reports of any serious physical injuries, but the man has been taken to hospital to be assessed.”
