Picture reveals dramatic Doncaster motorway crash this morning

Traffic officers from Hightways England arrived at the scene after a collision on the M18 this morning between junction four, Armthorpe, and junction three, Doncaster

A spokesman said: “This was the sweet surprise that our traffic officers cleared from the M18 south.”

They said all lanes had now been re-opened after the collision.

Highways England said earlier they did not expect normal traffic conditions to return until between 10:30am.
