Most of Doncaster village cut off from buses as 'unannounced' roadworks carried out today

Most of a Doncaster village has been cut off from its bus services today (Sunday) – because of unannounced road works.

The issue is affecting Cusworth village, and diversions are in place.

Travel South Yorkshire said today: “Due to unannounced roadworks on Cusworth Lane, buses are unable to serve the majority of Cusworth village.”

Bus company First said: “Due to roadworks on Cusworth Lane, we will be diverting via the 41A route to the Mallard, right onto Cusworth Ln, York Rd and Barnsley Rd in both directions.”
